Connecticut Corporate Team

For the past 35 years Chris has been involved in the development and installations of horticultural projects all over the world. From soil systems for professional sports stadiums to plantings in the largest collection of green walls in the world, his expertise and practical application of nature’s processes results in a sustainable and economical solution to design challenges.

Ellen joined AgroSci’s in 2014, she brings 26 years’ experience in architecture and construction to our team. As senior project manager for architectural projects, Ellen focuses on quality while maintaining project costs and scheduling, resulting in a high level of client satisfaction. She manages projects with a hands on proactive approach and commitment that ensures quality and project success.

Christopher Hoffman has more than 30 years of experience in journalism, marketing and public relations. In addition to his work for AgroSci, Chris has written for Connecticut’s biggest newspapers, including the Hartford Courant and the New Haven Register, and served more then seven years as a spokesman for the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office. He has created and implemented successful PR and marketing campaigns for an array of companies.

Crystal brings 25 years of diverse experience in the horticultural industry to AgroSci. She started her career working in a greenhouse at the age of 15 and moved up rapidly to various roles in the industry, including Sales Representative for the largest wholesale nursery in the northeast US, New England Territory Manager for a leading garden products company, and Project Administrator for a plant delivery startup. As Sales Team Leader, Crystal brings to AgroSci a focused approach for customer relationships, and a comprehensive understanding of the industry dynamics – combined with hands-on experience in the field.

Tabitha brings 20 years of retail sales and communications experience to AgroSci. Her exceptional customer focus enables AgroSci to maintain direct relationships with her customers, addressing their needs effectively and in their best interests. She is responsible for event and marketing planning across a variety of media platforms to communicate with customers concerning promotions and sales.  Tabitha also played a pivotal role in establishing new customer relationships through AgroSci’s innovative EZ Order Plant Program.

Lucy has been working with AgroSci since 2015 as a graphic artist, web developer and, most recently, social media manager. She has studied fine art, photography and graphic design and has over 20 years of professional experience.

Don has worked with Chris Pianta and AgroSci for over 10 years, supporting AgroSci’s growth, advising on capital raising, financial management and business strategy. Don has over 40 years of experience in commercial and investment banking and has supported many entrepreneurs and middle-market companies seeking financial advice. Mr. Ercole received a B.S. from Cornell University in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering and an M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business.
